Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. Her early years were spent listening to classical music, boleros from the past, and the traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana is a fan of tangos and operas as well as other dramatic shows. Ana began learning to play and sing in the early years together with her mom. She was given more formal training in singing when she reached the age of 16 old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. The training in music continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was an active member of numerous chamber and opera choirs. After relocating in America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before making the move to her current place in southern California. She performs solo Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. She has been involved with a number of local initiatives and is a teacher and performer, because of her passion for music and arts. Ana has also been a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful for having the chance to share her passion and love for traditional Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to instill a sense of, especially among younger generations to keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
