MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His work has led to major international advancements into Latin pop scene. His hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu was the winner of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for Most Popular Song in 2017. He released his debut long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. It peaked at 8 places on the Top Latin Albums charts. In the following year, he joined forces with Ozuna to make Vaina Loca that was it was a Top Five hit. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel on Mala Influencia and debuted the album Dopamina the next year. In 2021, he also performed a duet on TINI's streaming smash single Maldita Foto. 2000 also saw the huge single La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was raised in music-loving family. His elder brother and mom are each musicians. According to him, musicality is a vital component of his childhood. He began learning to play the saxophone, guitar, the keyboard and the ukulele when he was an infant. Although his first career choice was to be a vet, his brother Julian encouraged him to take singing lessons with the famous Cuban.
